Come in on your lunch hour and see what a difference a chemical peel can make.
Chemical peels diminish imperfections by exfoliating the outer layer of skin to improve a variety of skin conditions. The peels work by sloughing off dead skin cells and stimulating new healthy cells to appear on the surface of the skin.
Chemical peels help improve acne, acne scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, brown spots, freckles, sun damaged skin, rough uneven skin textures, and they help plump and firm the skin. Chemical peels are also more than just a facial - they can rejuvenate the skin on the face, neck, chest and hands. We use peels from PCASkin®.Request your consultation →
The peels take about 30 minutes. After receiving a PCASkin® professional treatment, you should not necessarily expect to 'peel'. However, light flaking in a few localized areas for several days is typical. Most patients who undergo these treatments have residual redness for approximately one to twelve hours post-procedure.
Care after the Peel
Stay cool! Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat. Please don't apply makeup or wash your face the day of a treatment. It is ideal to allow the skin to stabilize and rest overnight. Sun care products are extremely encouraged after a chemical peel.
Non-surgical cosmetic procedures can be used alone or in various combinations to compliment each other and to produce the greatest cosmetic improvement without surgery. In addition, any of these treatments can also be used together with surgical procedures to further enhance your results. Some patients may also choose non-surgical procedures such as laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectable fillers for now, and decide to have a more extensive surgical procedure later.
