This nine-year-old girl came to Dr. Nataliya Biskup with microtia. In her after photos, she is one week after completing her second stage ear reconstruction.

Microtia is a condition where very little to no ear forms. She underwent ear reconstruction using her own rib cartilage. In surgery, the rib is sculpted into the shape and form of an external ear. It is then placed underneath the skin. She has also undergone her second stage procedure to elevate the ear to recreate the sulcus behind the ear.
