Facial Fat Grafting at Plastic Surgery Center
As you age, your face begins to lose volume and youthful fullness.
When this happens, you may notice sagging skin, drooping jowls, hollow temples and cheeks, deep folds, sunken eyes, and worsening wrinkles. Fat grafting can restore your natural volume and bring back a more vibrant appearance to your face. It can also be used to very naturally plump your lips.
Fat grafting is permanent; a portion of the injected fat is accepted by your body and this stays with you.
It can be done alone or in combination with other procedures, such as a facelift.

How It Works
As you age, you often lose the subcutaneous fat in your face, causing it to look tired, hollow, or even skeletal. Fat grafting can help.
Fat grafting involves taking small amounts of fat from other parts of your body (often the abdomen) and re-injecting it in your face. We can implant this fat in your lips, the nasolabial folds (the folds from the corners of your mouth to your nose), the under eye areas, the cheeks and other parts of your face.
It is a natural, permanent filler, that can help restore lost facial volume and even correct problems such as acne scars. Fat grafting can enhance the results of a facelift or laser resurfacing.
Fat Grafting Areas
You may have fat grafting above or below the eyes, on the temples, the cheeks, chin, lips, jaw line, nasolabial folds, and hands. This procedure involves both a donor site (where the fat is taken from) and the treatment site (where it is being put).
