Feel Like You Again with Mommy Makeover Surgery

Do you eat right, exercise daily, but your body just doesn’t look and feel like it used to? Are you looking for other ways to regain your shape and restore your self-confidence?

Pregnancy, childbirth, breast feeding, and aging make a lasting mark on a woman’s body, but it’s never too late to change the way you look and feel. Diet and exercise may help, but often times your body can only be tightened through surgery.

You can look and feel like you again with mommy makeover surgery.

Many women, like the patient in this article, are looking for ways to put all their hard work together and feel better. If you’ve tried diet and exercise, but you have sagging skin, or a post-baby “bump” on your tummy, or breasts that don’t feel like they used to, a Mommy Makeover can help you reclaim your body, so you look and feel like you again.

Feel Like You Again with Mommy Makeover Surgery

The Mommy Makeover

Mommy Makeovers are a combination of cosmetic procedures that reshape and enhance your body at any age. They may include a combination of the following:

  • Breast procedure – depending on the size of your breasts, surgery may include a breast augmentation, breast lift or breast reduction
  • Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) or mini tummy tuck (targets only the lower tummy) to correct stretched and loose skin
  • Liposuction for contouring of problem areas
  • Vaginal rejuvenation with FemiLift – a non-surgical, quick and safe solution for various common feminine issues such as Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI), vaginal dryness and laxity, post-delivery rehabilitation, recurring infections, painful intercourse and more
  • Facial rejuvenation to correct signs of aging and tired eyes that may include laser resurfacing, Ultherapy®, face or eye lift, injectables such as BOTOX and DYSPORT, and a skin care regimen

Your recovery time depends on which procedures you undergo, how many you receive, and whether they are performed in combination or over a series of appointments.

With a Mommy Makeover, you and your surgeon discuss your goals and create a plan together to target the areas where you need and want the most help. Your first step to getting your body back and renewing your self-confidence is a consultation with one of our plastic surgeons, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Real Patients. Real Results.

Our real Mommy Makeover patient says she is now 100% comfortable in her own skin and explains her journey below.

Tell us about your journey to Mommy Makeover:

PSC Patient: I’d been exercising and eating healthy for a long time, but no matter how many sit ups I did, I just couldn’t get rid of the loose skin. I wanted my hard work and eating habits to come together. I had looked at a breast lift several years earlier, but it wasn’t until I did a lot of research that I was ready for a Mommy Makeover. I explored my options, looked at reviews and before and after photos. Once I was comfortable with the practice, I decided to do it.

How did you feel after the procedures?

PSC Patient: I was in a lot of pain for the first five days, but my family really supported me, and since I had been working out, my body was healthy. I did go back to work about a week and half after my surgery, so I eased off the pain meds and took it really easy at work.

When did you notice your results?

PSC Patient: It was about six weeks after surgery and the swelling had gone down that I could really see my results. At that time, everything started making sense, and I knew the surgery had paid off.

Are you happy with your results?

PSC Patient: Yes! I would do it again. I’ve always had healthy self-esteem, but the surgery gave me a newfound self-confidence. I am now more comfortable in my own skin and feel like I can do things I wouldn’t before. I feel like a new person in so many ways because I feel better about myself. I wore my first bikini in years on a trip  to Florida, and I felt great.

Do you have advice for people considering a Mommy Makeover?

PSC Patient: I would definitely encourage people to research and be prepared for the surgery. And, if you are on the fence, just do it. It changes the way you feel about yourself in such positive ways!
